Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 9, 2026
This is a starter policy for Soft launch. It is not legal advice. We may update these documents; the version on this page is the current one.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies (local storage, session storage) may be used for the same purposes. This policy explains how Smooth Social uses them.
2. How we use cookies today
We currently use essential cookies and similar storage required to operate the Service — for example to keep you signed in (authentication sessions via Supabase) and to remember basic preferences such as theme or that you dismissed this cookie notice.
These are necessary for the Service to function. Under the ePrivacy rules, essential cookies do not require consent, but we still inform you here.
3. Categories
- Essential — authentication, security, load balancing, and storing your acknowledgment of this notice
- Analytics / marketing — not used at this time. If we add them later, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required
4. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you may not be able to sign in or use parts of the Service.
Our first-visit notice lets you acknowledge this information. Dismissing it stores a local preference on your device so we do not show the notice again on that browser.
5. More information
For personal data processing more broadly, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
